As Macquarie analyst Chad Beynon points out, prediction markets generated $4.3 billion in taker volume during the first week of September without any help from the NFL, building on momentum from the 2026 World Cup. However, the NFL’s impact was immediate, with taker volume hitting a daily record during Week 1 of the campaign.

With all that in mind, it’s not surprising that Macquarie expects sports event contracts will drive approximately 80% of taker volume this year, but Beynon sees other categories growing over the long term.

“We expect non-sports categories such as economics, politics, crypto, and entertainment to gain share over time,” says the analyst.

Lawn n’ Complete Disorder is less a departure than a continuation of a format Play’n GO has been building for some time. The studio has repeatedly paired a recognizable comic character with a feature-heavy engine, and Frank the gnome is the latest in that line.

The developer says Lawn n’ Disorder combines character-driven humor with dynamic mechanics, a formula previously used in titles such as Leprechaun’s Vault and Buildin’ Bucks. The studio positions the release within its “Fun Slots” category, which includes titles like Gemix and Tower Quest.

That lineage is the wider takeaway. Play’n GO is treating personality and humor as a repeatable content pillar, not a one-off gimmick, and Frank’s suburban garden feud reads as another entry in a deliberately recurring style.
