The share price came under pressure following debt disclosures in Bally’s Q2 10-Q filing, which was submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission on 14 August.
In the filing, Bally’s noted that based on current forecasts, the business “does not project that it would satisfy the liquidity maintenance requirement” or the “consolidated net leverage ratio covenant” in its revolving credit facility over the next year.
The filing added: “As described below, while the company is actively engaged in discussions on several financing alternatives, the conditions and events raise substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.”

That strong foundation in Peru lies in a regulatory framework deemed to be among the most comprehensive in LatAm.
“The rollout of the regulation was super positive,” Rossi says. “I believe that the Peruvian regulation is one of the best regulations in Latin America. [It’s] flexible, modern, business-friendly. The regulator has demonstrated a commitment to creating a safe and transparent market environment, and there’s a great relationship between the regulator and the operators.”
Escobar sees Peru’s relatively nascent regulated market as an increasingly attractive proposition for operators, pointing to strong player engagement and digital adoption.

Based on its projections, EKG sees the overall sports wagering industry growing 8% year-over-year, outpacing the current baseline growth rate of 5% (a figure that strips out temporary boosts from the 2026 World Cup).

That dynamic helps explain why prediction markets remain in second place.
